After the death of Founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah the rulers could not protect the country which he founded and we saw the birth of independent Bangladesh with the break of Pakistan in 1971 and now it appears the present rulers are bent upon destroying the premier postgraduate medical institutions of the country like Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center which has a special significance as the Quaid had himself given permission to name it as Jinnah Hospital and the other two tertiary healthcare facilities imparting higher education and training in the field of Paediatrics and Cardiology i.e. National Institute of Child Health (NICH) and National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) which both were once part of JPMC as Department of Paediatrics and Department of Cardiology.
